1. Introduction and acceptance
This document (the “Terms”) is an agreement between you (the “Customer”, “user”) and HPTAI regarding the use of the hptai.vn website, add-ins for Autodesk Revit, and the online courses we provide (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, submitting a quote request, activating a software license or accessing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services.
2. Scope of services
HPTAI provides: (a) licensed add-ins for Revit that automate modelling and quantity take-off tasks; (b) BIM courses and learning paths delivered as video and documentation.
We sell through a consultative model: the website has NO online payment. You leave a request, our sales team advises and closes the order, accounting confirms payment, and the system then automatically issues a license or unlocks course access.
- Add-ins are compatible with the Revit versions stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
- Course content may be updated, extended or adjusted to match new software versions.
3. User accounts
To use certain features you must create an account with accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- Each account is for one individual; do not share your login credentials with others.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where offered to improve security.
- Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Software copyright and license
When you purchase an add-in, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install and use the software for the number of seats you have paid for.
The license is machine-locked: each license is tied to a specific computer through a machine fingerprint. You may transfer a license to another machine within the number of transfers and conditions stated on the product page or in your account.
- Do not copy, distribute, rent, resell or share the license with any third party.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, debug or attempt to defeat the license protection (crack, keygen, modifying the license file).
- Do not use a single-seat license for multiple concurrent users.
- All intellectual property rights in the software remain with HPTAI; you receive only the right to use it.
5. Online courses
When you enrol in a course, you are granted personal access to view the content for your own learning, for the period published for that course.
- Do not download without authorisation, screen-record, copy or redistribute lecture videos, materials and sample code.
- Do not share your account so that several people learn on a single enrolment.
- Do not use course content to run your own commercial training without HPTAI's written permission.
6. Payment, invoicing and tax
Payment is made by bank transfer using the details provided by our sales team. A license or course access is activated only after accounting confirms full payment has been received.
- Listed prices may or may not include value-added tax (VAT) depending on the product; specifics are stated in the quote.
- We issue electronic VAT invoices on request; please provide invoicing details before or at the time of payment.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the invoicing details you provide.
7. Refund policy
Add-ins and courses are digital products usable immediately after activation, so refunds are limited. We commit to being transparent about the cases below where refunds are and are not available.
- Refundable: the software has a serious technical fault that makes it unusable and HPTAI cannot fix it within 14 days of your written report.
- Refundable: you paid by mistake or placed a duplicate order and have not activated the license or accessed the course.
- Not refundable: the license has been activated and works as described, or you have accessed more than 20% of the course content.
- Not refundable for issues caused by your own machine configuration, incompatibility with a Revit version that was flagged in advance, or a breach of these Terms.
- Valid refund requests are processed within 14 business days and returned to the account used for payment.
8. Updates, support and maintenance
Within the support period published for each product, you receive bug fixes and updates for compatibility with new Revit versions, within the scope of support.
- The main support channels are the hotline, Zalo and email during working hours.
- We may pause the Services for maintenance and will give advance notice where feasible.
9. Prohibited conduct
When using the Services, you must not:
- Interfere with, scan or attack HPTAI's systems, servers and licensing mechanism.
- Use the Services for any purpose unlawful under Vietnamese law.
- Impersonate another individual or organisation, or provide false information.
- Upload or spread malware, or content infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties.
10. Limitation of liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, HPTAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Services.
HPTAI's total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product in the preceding 12 months. You are responsible for backing up your data and Revit models before using an add-in.
11. Intellectual property
All software, source code, interfaces, trademarks, logos, course content, documentation and articles on hptai.vn are owned by HPTAI or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may not use them without written permission.
12. Changes to the Terms
HPTAI may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect once published on the website, with the update date shown at the top. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Any dispute is first resolved by the parties through good-faith negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be submitted to a competent court in Vietnam for resolution under the law.
